About Adelante Inc.
Adelante Inc. serves youth in grades 7-12 in Lawrence, MA and surrounding neighborhoods. We provide programs and role models to support the growth and talent of all children, while being sensitive to individual cultural needs. Ninety percent of Adelante members are Latino, and the remaining 10% come from Anglo, African, and Middle Eastern cultures.
Our Facilities
Based in our new location within the Lawrence YMCA, the Adelante youth program is in the process of constructing an office, classroom space, and a state-of-the-art computer lab. All members of Adelante programs receive complimentary membership to the YMCA, whose facilities include a new aquatic facility, two gymnasiums, a fully equipped fitness center, and an innovative music program.
